Sacred Mind Cacao

Cacao allows us to explore our own inner spaces, awaken our senses, find balance, and allow healing within ourselves by connecting us with our heart and our deepest desires.  Cacao has the ability to balance both the female and male aspects of our psyche. This marvelous plant medicine can be used to change our perspective, enabling us to let go of negative patterns or habits, it helps release energetic blockages, and releases what no longer serves you.

Cacao is considered to be a divine plant by Aztecs, tradition says that Quetzalcoatl gave Aztec leaders  cacao beans, so that their people would be well fed and in this way they could be studious, wise, artists and artisans. Quetzacoalt stole the cacao from paradise where the gods lived.  The Mayans referred to cacao (kakaw) as a sacred plant medicine and a tool for emotional and energetic transformation.

Cacao Healing Circle

Cacao has been used for centuries to heal the mind, body, and spirit, and to gently open the heart. Mayans used cacao as a healing tool. A modern version of this healing circle aids in transformation and deep healing. Cacao is the only food that actively balances the right and left brain, incorporating both "masculine & feminine" energies.

Kundalini yoga is a form of yoga that involves breathing exercises and repetitive poses. Its purpose is to activate your Kundalini energy,  which is a spiritual energy that's said to be located at the base of the spine.

During the healing circle, we practice Kundalini yoga, meditate, engage with the cacao healing energy, and experience its blissful effects. We conclude the class with a guided visualization to connect with our ancestors and balance our feminine and masculine energies.

About Me

I’m Veronica Paris, a bilingual Integrative Mental Health and Wellness Coach, Cacao Healing Circle Leader, Kundalini Yoga Teacher, and Reiki Master. I was born and raised in Mexico, where I learned the magic of plant medicine from my great-grandmother and mother—wisdom that continues to guide my path today.

After more than 15 years of experience as a licensed therapist, I now bring together clinical insight with holistic practices, including homeopathy, Aztec flower essences, and sacred cacao work. My coaching practice is rooted in a deep commitment to supporting emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being.

I’m also the founder of Sacred Mind Institute, where I help clients reconnect with their inner truth, release inherited patterns, and experience soul-level healing through the Soul Compass Method. Whether we’re working 1:1, in ceremony, or in community, my goal is to hold space for transformation that is intentional, affirming, and generative.
